Bonjour! My name is AnnMarie Tornabene-Boivin and I am a New Yorker who now resides in France since 2015. In February 2023, after 26 years as an award-winning exhibiting photographer, illustrator and professional artists' model, I've added another feather in my hat as a jewelry maker. I have always had an interest in metal jewelry and took some courses in university so it was always in the back of my mind to create. I finally gave it serious thought when my husband bought me a beautiful handmade headpiece for my photo shoots as a Christmas gift and I wanted to add some beads to it for color. It wasn't the first time that I had altered jewelry that I purchased in the past for being "not exactly what I wanted, but almost". I also began this activity to help with my inability to focus due to stress and menopause and I find it is extremely helpful. So, I began making simple dangle earrings handcrafting loops and links but quickly dove into the realm of wire-wrapping and I love it so much. My goal is to provide you with beauty and wearable art and I hope that you will love my offerings.
